Lancashire Women is a leading charity for women in Lancashire with over 8500 women accessing their services over the past year and highly skilled volunteers supporting delivery of their services. Our vision is where all women in Lancashire are valued and treated as equals. We empower women to be able to transform their lives by bringing them together to: find their voice, share experiences and understanding, develop their knowledge and skills and challenge stereotypes and misconceptions about them…so that they can have choices in becoming the individuals they want to be. We work across five sites and from our three female only centres and working in outreach venues to provide free services and a safe, dedicated space for women across the county. Whatever your needs, you can drop in to our local centres any time between the weekday hours of 10am and 3pm. (Please note: For men accessing our mental health services we offer specific appointments off site or out of our core hours.) Our main programmes are: Mental Health & Wellbeing, Employment & Skills Support, Money, Debt & Benefit Advice and Justice & Safety. *during Covid-19 all our services are now available online and by phone.
